We took Gregory into the pediatrician today for another quick weight and color check. He was just a tad yellow at his last appointment, so they had wanted to follow up before the two-week check. His color is now very good, with no left over yellow at this point. There is also no problem with his weight at all. He was born at 7 lbs, 11 ounces, was discharged from the hospital at 7 lbs, 5 ounces, and today was 7 lbs, 12 ounces.
For those who aren't familiar with such matters, it's considered normal for newborns to lose up to 10% of their birth weight (Gregory only lost 5%), and for them to grow back to their birth weight by two weeks of age. Gregory surpassed that mark at 7 days, so he's doing well!

Woohoo! That's great!
Good job, Gregory. This is all too thrilling to watch. He's not going to fall off the weight charts.
And we love watching Judith as she entertains baby brother and dances to Mickey.
Can't wait to see you all. Have fun with Aunt Katie this weekend.
Yay! I found Ginny! It's so great to "see" you again and to hear about your two beautiful kids. I'm sure life will be a little hectic for a while with a newborn and 3 year old in the house, but when you have a spare minute, drop me a line: kkohler@peapod.com I would love to catch up.
Congratulations!
